Tanks So Much (Atışan Tanklar)

Effective 30 October 2026

Tanks So Much is a tank artillery game made by Fatih Akdag, an independent developer. This policy covers the game on the web at fatihakdag.net/tankgame and the Tanks So Much apps for iPhone, iPad and Android.

In short: there are no accounts, no ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, photos or any identifier that follows you. We never sell or share data for advertising.

What stays on your device

Your settings, your progress (campaign, puzzles, daily battle and weekly totals), the player name you type in, and a random code that lets you rejoin a game you dropped out of are saved on your device only — in the app's storage, or in your browser's local storage on the web. Uninstalling the app or clearing the site's data removes them.

Playing online

When you create or join an online room, the game connects to our match server, which passes moves between the players in that room. Along with the moves, it carries the player name you chose, your reactions, and any chat you send, to the other players in the room. The server keeps the room in memory only while it is in use; it does not save or log names, chat or moves. Like any server, it sees your device's IP address in order to connect, and does not store it. The server is hosted by Fly.io.

Chat is between the people in a room, who joined it with its code. It can be turned off in Settings.

Anonymous game statistics

When a round starts and ends, the game sends a short, anonymous report so we can see how the game is played: the kind of game, how many tanks and how many of them the computer played, the round's length and turns, the stage, stars and health for a campaign or daily round and which try at the daily battle it is, the language, the game's version and the platform (web, iOS or Android). Our host, Cloudflare, adds the country the request came from. Nothing in it identifies you or your device: no IP address, name, room code or device ID is kept. These counts are stored with Cloudflare and kept for up to three months.

Weekly leaderboard (apps only)

The apps can show a weekly leaderboard for the daily battle through Apple Game Center on iOS or Google Play Games on Android. It is used only if you are signed in to that service. Your weekly score is then sent to Apple or Google, together with the health and turns it is made of and your device's region setting (a country code). The names shown on the board are your Game Center or Play Games names. Apple's and Google's privacy policies apply to those services; you can sign out of them, or make your profile private, in their own settings.

Feedback

The feedback button opens your own email app with a message to [email protected]. It fills in the game's version, language, screen size and browser or device type to help with bug reports; you see all of it and can change it before you send. We use your email only to read and answer it.

Other things the app does

Service providers

The website and the anonymous statistics are hosted by Cloudflare, and the match server by Fly.io. As part of running the service they process network data such as IP addresses under their own privacy policies; we do not receive it from them.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Parents can turn chat off in Settings. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, for example by email, write to us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Because we keep nothing that identifies you, there is usually nothing of yours for us to show, correct or delete. Data on your device is in your control and is deleted with the app or the site's data. If you have a question, or want to exercise a right you have under laws such as the GDPR or the KVKK, email [email protected].

Changes

If the game starts handling data differently, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
